Clothing Choices for the Yoga Room

yoga clothes

It can be easy not to put much thought into what you wear to the yoga room; but wearing the gear that is meant for the activity can make a world of difference!

All of the clothing we offer at the studio has been specially picked because it’s made for the practices we have at Juice Box! The companies we get our clothes from produce clothing made by yogis for yogis. The creator of Onzie is actually a Bikram instructor who has been practicing this yoga for 20 years! Because these companies know what they’re doing, the clothes we have are lightweight and simple so that they don’t distract or weigh you down; and you also don’t have to worry about them stretching out, losing shape, or becoming see-through when you get all hot and sweaty. These clothes are great at giving you privacy and keeping you covered while not decreasing any of your mobility!

We’re also very proud to offer the clothing we do because it comes from companies whose values match up with ours! We only get clothing from companies who are environmentally conscious. In fact, some things are actually made using plastic bottles! These clothing brands are also good at understanding the wide variety of bodies that exist and doing what they can to make a product that is as comfortable for everyone as it can possibly be!

So, while the gaping shorts or cotton clothes are an easy go-to, they’re not the best when it comes to practicing your sweaty and stretchy yoga. Don’t worry though, we’ve got you covered… No pun intended. We have the cutest and most comfortable clothing for everything you do to Get Hot!

Ask Sus or Tanya if you have any retail questions. They LOVE Yoga clothes!🙏❤️

Amanda’s Announcements 04/25/16

Good morning, Juice Box Yogis!

Here are your announcements and juicy tidbits of information for the week of April 25th.

I’d first like to welcome the 48 new students that have joined us this week! We’re so excited that all of these people have taken this major step in improving their health and lifestyle. As many of us know, reconnecting with your body can be completely life-changing!

We have several special classes and events to look forward to!

Right now we are trying out “pop up” classes that aren’t typically on the schedule to test out which time slots work best and are most popular. Make sure to check for them and keep an eye out for other changes that may come to the schedule in May. They’re a great way to add extra classes for your challenge; and if you’d like us to keep classes at these times on the schedule the best way to let us know is to show up! 😉

If you’ve been interested in trying or already love our Vinyasa, keep an eye out for the free Hot Vinyasa classes that we will be hosting on Sundays. In the future, these classes will be taught by our Vinyasa teachers, Cameron, Megan, and Mitch! Mitch is our newest teacher and we are very happy to welcome him to our team!

This Thursday, April 28th, there will be a POP UP Inferno Hot Pilates class at the Sierra Rose Studio at 12:00pm. With our growing teaching team we’re making an effort to bring more Hot Pilates to this studio; so continue to look for these classes on the schedule in the future.

This Friday, April 29th, Eric will be teaching a special music class at 6:30 at the Sierra Rose studio. Keep your eyes on the schedule for this and come if you can!

Make sure to mark your calendars for a special family class taught by Tanya for Mothers Day on May 8th. This will be a Warm & Mellow type class for the whole family and all ages are welcome to attend. Drop ins for children under 12 will be only $10.

We are also hosting a couple workshops coming up soon.

We’re excited to host a Synergy and Inversion workshop May 7th from 12:30-2:30 with Francisco Morales-Bermudez. Francisco has been teaching since 2003 and teaches all over the world. The goal of this workshop is to “give a thorough understanding of a variety of yoga inversions within an atmosphere of intense focus and creative learning”.  Don’t miss it! The cost is only $40 per a person.

We’re also looking forward to hosting a workshop with Lynn Whitlow! She’ll be here all day June 4th and will be teaching an Inferno Hot Pilates at noon on June 5th. Lynn is very close to Bikram and helps run his trainings. She has also been teaching for over 20 years. More information to come as we get closer!

At Juice Box Yoga, it is very important to us that we live our yoga both on and off the mat. We are always looking for opportunities to give back to our community. If you have a silent auction or other donation or partnership opportunity for us, please contact me at amanda@yogajuicebox.com to see what we can do!

That’s all for now; check back next Monday for more! ❤️
